The first time I worked with Lilith was an accident. Mama Cholla warned me about doing ritual without marking the back of my neck.
Most of this I will not speak of but what I can say is Lilith is terrifying. A lot of lore (written by men)calls her a murderer of children,she who sleeps with demons.
Lilith knew she was Divine. She woke herself up. Instead of submitting she spoke the "eneffable" name, sprouted wings and fucked off to the promised land. When angels came to wrangle her with threats of violence she was like "pffffft whatevs". That knowing defiance is what makes her terrifying.
As Lilith uncoiled from my spine that night all of me came rushing in. It took over a month to make me "fit". I was embodied, equal and a holy mess. Lilith does not conform, she gained freedom.
